Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Reception Year: 2021 - 2022

The children in Reception were very lucky to have a special visitor this week, Mrs Sundar. Through story, dance and costumes the children learnt about the Hindu festival of lights, Diwali. The children helped to retell the story of Rama and Sita using props and costumes. They learnt new dance moves by joining in with a traditional Indian dance song and they were even allowed to wear some beautiful Indian outfits.
