Operation Encompass

We are an Operation Encompass School

Middlewich Primary School participates in a police-led initiative called Operation Encompass. This partnership between schools and the police aims to provide better support for children where a domestic incident has been reported to the police from their home.

How Operation Encompass Works

After a domestic incident, the police will contact the child’s school usually the next day. They will share relevant information with the safeguarding team. This timely communication ensures that we can provide immediate support to the child, helping them feel safe, supported and heard. Additionally, it allows us to offer support to the whole family.
