Middlewich Primary School P. T. A. was formed when the school opened in 1999. All parents who have children attending the school are automatically members of the P.T.A.
The P.T.A. committee consists of parents, friends of the school and members of staff who work at the school. The committee organises social events at the school.
Some of the events are designed to raise money for the school whilst others are to help promote the school’s endeavour to make everyone feel part of our community.
Here are some examples of P.T.A. organised events:
Regular Discos for all children,
Winter / Spring Craft Sessions
Fashion Shows
Bingo Nights
Fireworks & BBQ
Summer BBQ
All parents are invited to committee meetings and the committee is always looking for fresh ideas.
The children benefit greatly from the work of the P.T.A’s activities. The P.T.A organises children’s discos for both the infant and the junior children. This year all pupils were taken to a pantomime and the P.T.A. paid the full cost. The P.T.A. also helps the school purchase resources for the children to help them with their education. The school has received help with purchasing maths and English resources. Computers have been bought and wireless ugraded, playground apparatus as well as subsidising trips to ensure costs are kept to a reasonable price.
The P.T.A. wants all parents, especially new parents to the school, to feel welcome. If you wish to find out more about the P.T.A. please contact Ms La Porta at the school by using the Contact Page.
