Here you will find information about topics that we will be studying this year as well as information about weekly homework. 

 

Important things to know

Homework will be given on a Friday and is due in the following Wednesday.

PE is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Children will need to bring their P.E kits and trainers into school on these days.

Children will need to bring their ukuleles into school on Mondays for their weekly music lesson with Mrs Biggs. The resouces used in the lessons can be accessed using this link https://sway.office.com/LWxabNiSUmeE1SaH?ref=Link

The violin group will need to bring their violins into school every Thursday for their lesson with Mr Henderson. The music can be viewed by following this link https://sway.office.com/BQ1TQNi5APpqSS1M?ref=Link

The woodwind and brass group will need to bring their instruments into school on a Thursday for their lesson with Mrs Biggs and Mr Taylor.

  • Recapping the spelling rules we have learnt at primary school
  • As well as reading and working on lots of exciting new books including Survivors, Wolves of Currumpaw, Room 13, Holes, Clockwork, Hansel and Gretel and many more...

 

Wow! What a lot of exciting topics we have to cover this year. We'll certainly be kept busy!

As the flagship year group we need to be responsible learners. Remember to use TTR, your study guides and all of the other helpful websites that we can access to support our learning!
